First-ever Europe-wide strategy on plastics, is a part of the transition towards a more circular economy
Last 16th of January 2018, the Commission approved the first European Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy, tackling several topics, such as: Design for recyclability, Boosting demand for recycled plastics, Preventing plastic waste in our environment, Establishing a clear regulatory framework for plastics with biodegradable properties and Driving innovation and investment towards circular solutions.
