The Free Market Road Show (FMRS)

The Free Market Road Show is a series of conferences and panel discussions that tours all over Europe - from Scandinavia to Montenegro, from Spain to the Ukraine. More than 400 experts participate, presenting aspects of key economic questions in 40 cities, involving the audience into a vital discussion of economic and public policy questions.
Slovak stop in Bratislava will introduce 8-10 speakers in 2 panels.

The international panels will be focused on the communication of European values like equality, environment, justice or innovation. The second panel will introduce local speakers discussing the future of agriculture and bioeconomy in Slovakia and in Europe. Speakers should include agricultural and environmental experts from Slovak political parties, independent experts and the representative of the European Commission in Slovakia (and the former Deputy Director General of Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANCO) Ladislav Miko (TBC).

The event will take place in Bratislava on May 14. BIOVOICES project will be introduced by Martin Vlachynsky PEDAL, who is also an agricultural policy analyst at the institute INESS, who is a co-organizer of the event.

The 2018 edition will be the fourth instalment of FMRS in Bratislava. It will take place in the Hotel Tatra in Bratislava. Previous events attracted around 100-150 visitors, including journalists, business representatives and Slovak politicians.
