On 7 November 2017, the BIOWAYS project will organize its ”barcamp” in Lužianky, Slovakia.
Taking place in the framework of the Horizon 2020 National Information Day - addressing societal challenge “Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry, Marine, Maritime and Inland Water Research and the Bioeconomy” - the event will serve to:
1. Present the results of the survey in Public perception of BBP and Bioeconomy
2. Demonstrate how games can be used to raise awareness of the large public on BBP and bioeconomy
3. Discuss with other EU-funded projects co-creation experiences.
The barcamp will take form of informal discussion sessions at its exhibition space in parallel to the main event.
The H2020 Information Day will be held on the occasion of the publication of the 2018-2020 Work Program for the social challenge 2. The main theme will be the new challenges and expected outcomes to strengthen European agribusiness and agriculture, to be discussed by Mr Marc Duponcel from DG AGRI. The program will focus on the current state of research and innovation in the field of agro-food, forestry and bio-farming, as well as on the experience with Slovak partners who are members of international consortia of successful projects. During this session, Robert MISKUF, CEO at PEDAL Consulting, will share the experience of the BIOWAYS project. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and network to establish contacts for further collaboration.
