BIOWAYS Events

The inaugural Stakeholder Forum is a one-day public event dedicated to engaging directly in dialogue with BBI JU’s stakeholders. The event is taking place in Brussels on 7th of December 2017. 

The event will include plenary keynote speeches, high-level discussions with expert panels, thematic breakout sessions, with plenty of networking possibilities.

Thematic breakout sessions will offer the chance to any stakeholder to contribute their views on the way forward in the following areas:

- The role of the primary sector in building bio-based industries
- Industrial innovation - defining the direction for science-based innovation
- The value for Europe’s citizens – aligning economic & societal expectations & needs
- New markets, new sectors, new products

Futhermore, more than 65 ongoing projects, from BBI JU prgramme, will be presenting their work in the permanent exhibition, accessible throughout the event.
